This pond in St. Johns was plagued with excessive weed and algae growth. Successive algae and herbicide treatments weren't enough to turn it around.
Mid-Michigan Ponds came in and performed a full scale clean out including pumping down the pond, tree clearing, reshaping, lowering the steep bank elevations and re-grading. A swinging pole, dock posts and water level control structure were also installed. The pond was stocked with perch, bluegill and bass and windmill aeration was added to provide oxygen for a healthy ecosystem.
